Sweet Glossy Red Lips

If red lips seems like a step out of your comfort zone, this tutorial will show you how you can create soft red lips that’s flirtatiously sweet & glossy~

Step out of your comfort zone with soft glossy red lips!

You’ll need:
1. Red lipstick of your choice (pinky red, or orange red). I used Revlon’s Suede Matte Lipstick in ‘Really Red‘.

2. Red lip liner.
It doesn’t have to be the same brand, but must be a close match to the lip colour.
I used an Australian brand called Natio.

3. Lip Brush
I used Shu Uemura’s lip brush from their “Moyoco Anno” Limited Edition Travel set.
It’s sooooo good…

4. Clear or Translucent Pink Lip Gloss of your choice
I used a translucent pink gloss to create a sweeter look

Revlon Suede Matte Lipstick – Really Red

“Natio” red lip liner (Australian brand)

Line lips in soft feathery strokes.
Create a rounded cupid bow for a heart-shape
Seal the corners of your mouth.

Apply lipstick directly to your lips.
Then smooth it out evenly with a lip brush.
If you want an intense colour, apply more lippie directly from the stick.

Even though you have lined the corners, smooth the lip colour to the corners also..
so there’s no gaps in case you want to smile like Megan Fox

You could stop here for a sheer & soft look

Apply some gloss to the lip brush & lightly dab on lips.
Be gentler with the lip brush this time, otherwise the colour will move.
Keep re-applying a little more gloss until you’ve achieved the glossiness you’re after.

Voila~
These lips are now ready to flirt with young lads, and win envy of lasses..

   Thank you for the tutorial. I bought my first red lippie yesterday and it's Rimmel's Temptation. This Revolon one looks very nice. I'll check it out next time I go to the store. =)
