• Lip Injection Extreme is for those that don’t mind a fair bit of tingle in exchange for long lasting plumping effects
• Scientifically proven to increase lip volume and plumpness permanently with continued use, this serum is to be used both morning and night together with your skincare routine.
• After applying onto clean dry lips, wait one minute before applying lip colour to allow it to absorb into lips.
• This lip plumper is not for the faint hearted & I recommend it only if you’re really serious about plumping lips.
• It doesn’t just tingle, it actually hurts for around 1-2 minutes before it reduces to a tingle.  It’s so strong that if you accidentally smear this on your face it’ll leave red  patches that disappear after a while.
• Verdict: Pain aside, this is strong stuff. 6 hours later (after meals and wiping off several lip swatches) my lips are still fuller than they were before application.  Recommended for those that prefer to enhance their lips naturally instead of  injectables.

Range: Sexy Mother Pucker XL Extreme Plump

• Extra strength lip plumper, dubbed the “SMP-XL” that achieves “ridiculips”.
• These claim to be stronger than the Sexy Mother Pucker Lipglosses, but I’m not so sure.  I did experience a thousand more butterflies fluttering on my lips, but the plumping effect was similar on my lips.
• However I think this achieves a different purpose to the lipglosses, as the semi-clear formula makes it perfect for layering above matte lipstick, or chapped lips that need to be brought back to life – ASAP.
• Although it comes with a slanted applicator, I still like using a lip brush so I don’t accidentally over apply & faint from a plumping overdose.
• The tingling takes a few minutes to take effect, so be patient… and trust me you won’t MISS IT!
• Verdict: If you don’t mind the butterfly-effect of this lip plumper, this is a MUST-HAVE in my opinion.  My lips are always dry and lifeless at the end of a work day & I always struggle to spruce it up before an evening function.  But one layer of these and my lips were back in business!!

• Lip Lacquer: Lightweight, high shine with light reflecting pearl pigments.  Enriched with natural emollients to moisturise and condition lips.
• Lip Plumper: Formulated with cinnamon, ginger & menthol (plumping) and lanolin (smoothes lines) with light reflecting pigments for  a mirror like gloss.
• Both formulas are light, non sticky, smoothing and moisturising.
• The only drawback is that while it tastes mildly sweet (big tick), there is a mild trace of the pigment in the taste.

• Verdict: A great everyday gloss for those who love a sheer wash of colour with shimmers.  My top picks are Crystal Verve and Cosmic Rush – and at only $10.95 AUD you can afford to get both!

• A daily all-in-one lip treatment that plumps, firms, reduces wrinkles/lines, hydrates and provides antioxidant protection.
• Causes mild tingling sensation, but settles down soon after.
• Softens lip lines caused by the weather, stress and smoker’s lips.
• Claims to minimise lipstick “bleeding. 
• Creates longer term results than glosses that has temporary plumping effects.
• Verdict: If you don’t like lipstick sliding on lip balm, a liquid treatment like this will absorb more quickly to hydrate lips. The plumping effect is natural (ie. only brings back the  fullness) and softened lip lines makes you look more youthful and healthy.

Range: Lip Stain & Plumper
Shade: Moon

• A paraben-free moisturising and plumping lip tint that will give you such a full pout that people might think you had injectibles.
• “Moon” is a sheer pink.  Also available in “Star”, a sheer peach.
• Not your average ingredient list: Flax Seed Oil (moisturising), Acai extract & Pomegranate (antioxidant), Menthol (cooling), Capsicum (plumping) and Cinnamon (enhances natural colour and shape),  
• Very zingy sensation as lips are being plumped, and smoothes lines really well.
• Tastes of cinnamon, which I don’t mind.
• Love the angled applicator for hygienic application.
• Verdict: I couldn’t stop staring at my plumped-up pout after using this!  When I think “lip stain” I expect a flush of colour, and not a paler look, but it’s great as an everyday shade.
