• Benefit’s new Ultra Plush Lip Glosses are exquisitely packaged and the texture is soft and luscious leaving lips baby smooth.
• Available in 6 new shades – Lollibop (hot pink), Icebreaker (clear), A-Lister (bubblegum pink), Kiss You (clear fuchsia), Poutragious (bright pink coral), Fauxmance (soft berry).
• Despite Lollibop being described as a hot pink, it turned out to be a barely-there pink on me with a milky finish – what I’d call an “innocent pink”.
• Verdict: Despite the pigment being an anti-climax, I love how smooth & moisturising it feels with zero stickiness.  The packaging reminds me of Paul & Joe except with a more retro feel, and I like that it stands securely on the lid making it a pretty desk accessory at the office or study.  Whilst the gloss is very smooth, it doesn’t actually smooth lip lines so it’s better for younger lips.

• The new Dior Addict Gloss gives lips a mirror-like shine, with a gel formula enriched with hyaluronic acid spheres that plump and moisturise lips for a voluminous effect.
• Available in a carrousel of 24 new colours in 3 finishes – Shimmering, Pearly and Pure.
• I was sent 4 shimmery shades to feature – Delice (peach), Diablotine (coral), Spring Ball (milky peach) and Princess (baby pink).
• Feels very comforting and instantly soothes lips, effortlessly conceals lip flaws transforming them into a soft plump pout.
• The gel finish is really pliable and glides on easily making it really tempting to over apply, but you only really need one application to achieve a mouth-watering glossy lip.
• Verdict: If you love the popsicle finish of the new Dior Addict Be Iconic lipsticks but find that it lacks oopmh, you’ll love the juicy finish that this gloss adds to your pout.  The iridescent finish in the shimmer range glimmers in all angles, making your lips ultra dimensional.    Diablotine was the most pigmented out of the 4 shades I received, and compliments pigmented lips to give a juicy coral finish.   I’d recommend Delice, Spring Ball and Spring Ball only to those with fair lip tones, or are looking for a finishing gloss on a nude lip.

• Jane Iredale has revamped its lipgloss range with their new and improved PureGloss range,  with a refreshed formula and sleek new packaging that now contains 35% more product in each tube.
• The texture feels tacky like a lacquer with a strong grip & sculpting properties that revive my tired lips into a voluminous sculpted & smooth pout.
• It doesn’t glide as smoothly as other glosses, but the lacquer finish is nevertheless easy thanks to the curved doe wand that fits the curve of my lips perfectly.
• Long-lasting high shine finish.
• Petroleum free formula, with key ingredients such as Moringa Butter, Orange Peel (hydrating), and Blackberry and Pomegranate extracts that double as anti-oxidants as well as leaving a pleasant flavour.
• Available in 18 shades, Sugar Plum is a sweet peony pink with sparse shimmers, Candied Rose is is a shimmery rose gold, and Iced Mocha is a shimmery gold brown.
• The shimmers – particularly in Candied Rose & Iced Mocha really glimmer under lighting and give lips added dimension creating the illusion of a full pout combined with the sculpting properties of the lacquer.
• Verdict: The lip swatches were taken towards the end of a swatching session & my lips were feeling worse for wear & looking rather withered.   It just took a slick of  Jane Iredale’s PureGloss to revive my tired lips into a voluminous & healthy sculpted pout that felt soothed as well.  This is definitely my favourite lip product out of all the Jane Iredale lip products I have reviewed to date, and I highly recommend it for anyone that wants a product that instantly sculpts their  lips into a voluminous pout without the need for any tingly ingredients.

Range: NY Color Sensational High Shine Gloss
Shades: Almond Crush, Electric Shock, Plum Lustre, Iced Chocolate, Glisten Up Pink, Captivating Coral, Mirrored Mauve, One Shine Day, Gleaming Grenadine, Luminous Latte

• Give your lips a luminous look with finishes that range from molten glazes through to juicy sheens.
• Wax free formula that glides incredibly smoothly, melting into lips coating them evenly without sinking into lines or sliding.
• Despite being infused with Maybelline’s signature honey nectar ingredient, I find this collection features a strong scent of fruit chews (like Starbursts).
• Available in 10 shades from petal pinks to eye popping coral.
• Verdict: It’s not everyday that I’m impressed by a high street lip gloss range, but the smooth “lip hugging” formula has captivated me.  My favourite shades are Plum Luster (which I’m saving for Autumn), Electric Shock (cool pink that sits amazingly well even on my pigmented lips) and Iced Chocolate (creamy nude).

• A creamy liquid lipstick that glides on smoothly & instantly moisturises lips into a plump glossy pout.
• Smoothes lip lines and evens out my lip tone giving it a translucent yet medium coverage.
• Its texture is unlike anything you expect – it doesn’t feels like a gloss, or the usual tackiness you often find in a liquid lipstick.  It simply feels like a creamy liquid on lips.
• Supposedly brightens your complexion, but I’m struggling to see the effects.
• PK262 is a peachy beige with golden shimmers.  It does an amazing job at concealing my lip tones without looking like a mask, giving my lips a moist nude finish.
• Tasteless & scentless!
• Verdict: I recommend it to those who like a translucent finish, and like the idea of a texture that’s weightless with absolutely no tackiness whatsoever.  The finished is so effortless, making it a great choice for weekends or work.  The only drawback is the limited shade range that seems to revolve around peach and beige!
• If you’re after something more pigmented try L’Oreal Shine Caresse; for a water colour finish try YSL Glossy Stain, and for an ultra creamy finish try Shiseido Lacquer Rouge.
