Brand: ELES
Range: Super Balm SPF15
Shade: Zesty
Swatched by yours truly: akisa

  • A tinted lip balm that’s rich in moisture to instantly hydrate and repair lips with ingredients such as Aloe Barbedensis Leaf Extract, Vitamins A & E.
  • Skin-safe formula with no chemical irritants such as fragrance, oil and dyes.
  • The high shine glossy finish makes it look like a lipgloss, but the texture is actually very smooth, providing a protective barrier on lips to lock in the moisture.
  • Available in 4 shades – Zesty (orange), Delicious (red), Sweetie (pink) and Juicy (citrus).  Zesty gives lips a sheer peachy tint.
  • The balm-like texture helps it to moisturise lips for longer.
  • SPF 15 – a must have for high shine lip products.
  • Verdict: This is a notch (or two) up from Jack Black lip balms in both price and results. It’s much more moisturising, to the point that my lips feel DRENCHED with hydration and completely soothed.  This is going straight into my work makeup bag!

RRP: $33.75 AUD

Available online at www.elescosmetics.com.au and in selected beauty salons and day spas Australia wide.

I was recently disappointed finding out the this brand is selling discontinued and old stock much higher than the recommended retail price especially when there are other brands in Australia selling the same products for less. I’m also disappointed that this brand has not been honest with Australian customers, claiming to be exclusive and made by Pevonia when it is made from a private label company overseas and not made by Pevonia at all. Women be warned that the person behind ELES is ripping customers off and has been for several years. I urged customers to do your research and view current product reviews on main review sites to get the full background on the poor ethics of this brand.

Hi Beauty Busy Bee, thanks for sharing this info. I also recently became aware that their manufacturer is not exclusive to them & produces cosmetics for other brands as well. I will forward your comments to the ELES team to hopefully get them to clarify the other feedback you’ve shared.

Thanks Akisa, I appreciate it. When I found out everything it really upset me because I bought one of many of the discontinued products that have been in recent discussion topics all over the net and it wasn’t cheap to buy either! And I wasn’t happy with it because it applied like you would expect expired makeup to look like when used and instead of concealing my dark circles it actually made me look like I had dry cakey undereye bags!
