• “True intense colour with all dry hydration.  This ultra-smoothing formula blends effortlessly for a luxurious finish.”
• Whilst I agree with the beautiful creamy moisturising texture and that sits really comfortably on lips, it’s not the most ultra-smoothing or pigmented formula that I have come across.  My lip lines are still as they were, and despite that the lipstick sits very evenly on the lip surface.
• PK307 is a pink beige that does a decent job at transforming my pigmented lips into a nude lip.  It’s not streaky or patchy, but the coverage is not 100% flawless either – which is a problem I have with many pink beige lip shades.  This won’t be a problem if you have a paler lip tone than mine.
• Verdict: The shade range of Shiseido Perfect Rouge will appeal to those that like an under-stated lip, with a formula that is more forgiving on lips less prone to dryness or lip lines.   Whilst this is one of the rare pink beige shades that works for my skin / lip tone, the formula requires an unconventional step beforehand to make it work for my dry lips (I’ll be revealing a tutorial tomorrow!)

• Treatment Lip Shines are a lightweight lipstick & lip treatment in one, providing long-term moisture with natural Cocoa and Shea Butters Jojoba, Apricot Kernel and Avocado oils.
• 4 new limited edition shades are now available in time for spring/summer in Australia – Peach Sorbet (pink coral), Pink Seashell (pink nectar), Sunset (Golden Bronze) & Orchid Pink (light heather pink).
• Orchid Pink is described as a light heather pink, but on my pigmented lips it comes across as a milky nude pink.
• Despite the creamy appearance, the formula is super lightweight, semi-sheer with a moist high shine finish.
• My sample of Orchid Pink has more beige in it (which matches the Bobbi Brown website swatch) compared to those photographed by other bloggers which has more pink.
• Verdict: Treatment Lip Shines are my work makeup staple, due to their exceptional moisturising properties and semi-sheer moist finish.  Orchid Pink will appeal to those that want a work-appropriate nude-pink lip that will keep lips looking soft throughout the day without looking washed out.

The creamy milky pink finish isn’t forgiving on lip flaws, which means you have to be extra diligent with keeping lips flake-free.

• May I introduce you to Esprique Precious Mellow Forming Rouge – a dupe that surpasses Dior Serum de Rouge by a mile.
• It’s more moisturising, more plumping, more smoothing and melts into lips into a high shine that glimmers in light due to the very fine illuminating particles.
• I bought PK821 from the Spring 2012 collection a neutral pink beige – my favourite everyday lip shade perfect for “real skin makeup” days.
• Verdict: Two words – Holy Grail! The only downside is that the melty texture means you need to re-apply frequently, but for the results I think it’s still worth it.

Any lip product that makes my lips look plump with no lines gets two thumbs up!

Looks shimmery in the tube & on my arm, but melts into a high shine illuminating finish.
