Brand: Mirenesse
Range: Lip Bomb “Candy Collection”
Shades: 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36
Swatched by yours truly: Yishan

  • Further to the lip bombs I swatched previously, Mirenesse have released have released 6 new shades as part of their Candy Collection.
  • Lip Bombs are a unique glossy lacquer stain that coat lips with amplified colour with a juicy high shine lacquer finish.
  • What I love about the unique applicator (close up pic here) is that you only need one coat for a high impact finish as the flat tip of the wand helps evenly smooth the lacquer over the lips.
  • You can also customise the colours by adding a touch of gold or white to lighten up the shades.
  • Verdict: Whilst my last set of swatches featured hot pinks and reds, this time there’s a cinammon red, coral and raspberry red and a shimmery fuschia – which in my opinion takes the cake from the Candy Collection.

Range: Super Lustrous Lipgloss
Shades: Berry Allure, Sugar Violet, Fuchsia Finery, Pink Pop, Pango Peach, Snow Pink, Super Natural, Rosy Future, Kiss Me Coral, Fatal Apple, Raising Rouge
Swatched by yours truly: Yishan

  • The Super Lustrous Lipglosses are Revlon’s newest addition to their lip gloss range, and come in a silky formula that boosts hydration and subtly plumps lips.
  • Available in 12 shades in Australia, all of which are featured in this post.
  • I’m really impressed by the pigmentation of these lipgloss, in that even the sheerest formula gives a beautiful soft veil of colour that looks great even on its own.
  • Non-tacky and feels really smooth and moisturising with a high shine.
  • Verdict: These are really great quality for their price point, and can be worn on their own as a sheer MLBB gloss.  With wedding season at its peak at this time of year in Australia, these glosses are an affordable choice for the bridal party that’s easy to squeeze in an evening bag and touch up throughout the day.

Brand: Revlon
Range: Super Lustrous Shine Lipsticks
Shades: 801 Pink Cloud, 805 Kissable, 810 Pink Sizzle, 815 Fuchsia Shock, 820 Pink Cognito, 825 Lovers Coral, 830 Rich Girl Red, 835 Berry Couture, 840 Honey Beige, 845 Terra Copper, 850 Plum Velour
Swatched by yours truly: Yishan

  • The Super Lustruous Shine Lipsticks are the newest additions to the Revlon lipstick range, and come in a lightweight sheer formula with a silky finish that leaves lips with a moisturised sheen.
  • Available in 11 shades in Australia, all of which are featured in this post.
  • Most shades are quite natural looking with a MLBB shade for most skin tones.  For a more vibrant pop of colour, there’s Fuchsia Shock, Berry Couture, Plum Velour and Rich Girl Red that leans toward coral more than red.
  • Verdict: This lipstick range will appeal to those who love a natural lip with a sheer but noticeable wash of colour.  The moisturising silky texture revives lips leaving it with a healthy sheen, and I especially love how easy it is to apply without needing to be overly precise.

Brand: ASAP
Range: Pure Mineral Lip Colour
Shades: One, Three, Six
Swatched by yours truly: Yishan

  • ASAP Pure Mineral Lipcolours are a cosmeceutical mineral lipstick that conditions lips with Vitamin E, avocado, jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid.
  • Available in six shades - One (pink rose), Two (rose brown), Three (bright candy pink), Four (deep rose brown), Five (subtle plum), Six (vibrant deep red)
  • Feels really moisturising, injecting my dry lips with a much needed boost of hydration making them instantly fuller, smoother and softer. No lip balm required.
  • The pigmentation is impressive, that can be worn both sheer and layered on in just a few sweeps for opaque coverage.  It fades gracefully throughout the day without looking patchy, which is how I like my lipsticks to last.
  • The scent is rosy bsdfut I can still taste the waxes & oils in the lipstick.
  • Verdict: It’s hard to imagine how such a great lipstick is not yet widely known.  I highly recommmend it to anyone that loves a boost of moisture in their creamy pigmented lipstick.  Google it and you’ll easily find the online stockists.  My favourite shade is Three which is described as a candy pink, but on my flushed lip tone it’s more a posy pink that fades into a pink MLBB.

NATIO Smoothie Lip Colour Crayons – Peony, Plum, Lollipop, Petal, Poppy – Review, Photos, Swatches

Brand: Natio
Range: Smoothie Lip Colour Crayons
Shade: Peony, Plum, Lollipop, Petal, Poppy
Swatched by yours truly: Yishan

  • Natio’s new Smoothie Lip Colour Crayons deliver a quick slick of sheer popsicle tinted colours, in a smooth moisturising formula that contains jojoba seed oil and shea butter.
  • Available in range of 8 shades: Peony (cool pink), Tea Rose (warm pink), Hazel (warm nude), Holly (scarlet), Plum (warm plum), Lollipop (candy pink), Petal (rose pink), Poppy (Warm red).
  • Lips are left feeling moisturised with a sheen, and the punchier colours (eg. Lollipop) do leaves lips with a stain afterwards.
  • In terms of packaging, the lids don’t stay on as securely as I’d like them to be, however I do like they are wind-up crayons so it doesn’t require any sharpening.
  • Verdict: Lollipop is my favourite as it’s more of a sheer pink fuchsia and brightens up my complexion.  Peony surprisingly turned out to be a pale pink despite the packaging looking like a MLBB shade.  Plum is a sheer take on the berry/wine lip trend, and Petal & Poppy will appeal to those that like a natural lip.  Natio is known for their range of wearable shades, and their Smoothie Lip Colour Crayon are a great choice if you like a sheer wearable colour that only takes seconds to slick on.
