• Say goodbye to dull, dry lips with Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters, the most highly raved lipstick on the internet, with bloggers & Youtubers in a craze over the buttery smooth, hydrating balmy texture of this sheer lipstick.
• Available in 20 “mouth watering” shades, these contain a combination of Mango, Shea and Coconut Butters to soothe lips naturally
• Sheer when applied directly from the tube, but buildable to medium(ish) coverage if applied with a lip brush.  Finish is juicy & high in shine.
• Naturally scented with vanilla
• Disguises dry and tired lips, transforming them into a juicy pout.
• Verdict: A really versatile lipstick that can be worn sheer (by applying directly from the tube) or layered on for extra coverage by applying with a lip brush for a polished look. My lips stay moisturised for several hours & it fades into a natural tint.  I recommend going for the more vibrant shades in the collection seeing as they are so buildable.

Range: Color Sensational Lip Color
Shades: Rosy Dream, Juicy Bubble Gum, Juicy Pink, Mauve Diamonds, Sugar Plum

• Maybelline have added 10 new shades to the Color Sensational range, which I’ve spread over 3 posts.  This post is part 2 of 3, and is all about pinks & mauves.
• The new shades are translucent & lightweight, but feature the signature nourishing feel.
• Tastes fruity & juicy, reminds me of fruit chews like Starbursts candy. One of the YUMMIEST lipsticks I’ve tasted to date.
• Verdict: Props to ”Juicy Bubble Gum” – a blue pink shade that’s just blue enough to look like candy pink but not too blue that it clashes against neutral/warm skintones. For something more subdued, “Juicy Pink” is a modest & wearable everyday pink.

Range: Color Sensational Lip Color
Shades: Barely Brown, Rum Riche, Bronzed, Warm Latte, Mochachino

• Maybelline have added 5 new neutral (and very warm) shades to the Color Sensational range in a mix of satin and lustruous finishes.
• To make room for these new shades, Maybelline have discontinued “Caramel Kiss” and “Toffee Tango”.
• Glides smoothly and evenly with a creamy nourishing feel due to the key ingredient – honey nectar.
• Lightweight yet pigmented, with a dessert-like taste & doesn’t sink into lip lines.
• Verdict: My top picks are “Warm Latte” (pair this glimmering golden lip with smouldering eyes) and “Rum Riche” (a gorgeous plum shade that’s making me look forward to autumn already!)

Brand: NVEY ECO
Range: Hydrating Lip Lustre
Shade: Ruby

•  NVEY ECO is an Australian organic makeup brand launched in 2005 that takes “green” cosmetics to the next level of perfection.
• Free of parabens, petrochemicals or synthetic fragrances.  Not tested on animals & made in Australia.
• Lip Lustres are lip lacquers that are rich in lustrous pigment and high in shine, and comes with an eco-friendly doe wand applicator (that’s unnecessarily long).
• The texture glides incredibly smoothly & feels nourishing at the same time due to the organic beeswax.
• There’s absolutely no stickiness, but there is a subtle organic taste which I’m ok with.
• Available in 10 shades, Ruby is a metallic plum.
• Verdict: Two thumbs up for a high performing organic lip gloss that manages to deliver on quality, comfort and a gorgeous shade all in one.  The metallic plum is simply divine & perfect for nights out or the festive season.

I’d be happier with the packaging if the lid wasn’t soooo loooong.

It’s not often I fall in love with plum or metallic shades, but there’s just something different about Ruby that screams appeal.

Swatches a little lumpy on my arm, but rest assured it goes on smoothly on lips.

• Pro Longwear Lipcremes are lightweight in texture with a creamy finish and comfortable longwear
• Soft Sell is described as a “dirty neutral pink with pearl” but on Bluebell it looks like a reddish plum with a pearl sheen.
