•  NVEY ECO is an Australian organic makeup brand launched in 2005 that takes “green” cosmetics to the next level of perfection.
• Free of parabens, petrochemicals or synthetic fragrances.  Not tested on animals & made in Australia.
• Lip Lustres are lip lacquers that are rich in lustrous pigment and high in shine, and comes with an eco-friendly doe wand applicator (that’s unnecessarily long).
• The texture glides incredibly smoothly & feels nourishing at the same time due to the organic beeswax.
• There’s absolutely no stickiness, but there is a subtle organic taste which I’m ok with.
• Available in 10 shades, Ruby is a metallic plum.
• Verdict: Two thumbs up for a high performing organic lip gloss that manages to deliver on quality, comfort and a gorgeous shade all in one.  The metallic plum is simply divine & perfect for nights out or the festive season.

I’d be happier with the packaging if the lid wasn’t soooo loooong.

It’s not often I fall in love with plum or metallic shades, but there’s just something different about Ruby that screams appeal.

Swatches a little lumpy on my arm, but rest assured it goes on smoothly on lips.

• Pro Longwear Lipcremes are lightweight in texture with a creamy finish and comfortable longwear
• Soft Sell is described as a “dirty neutral pink with pearl” but on Bluebell it looks like a reddish plum with a pearl sheen.

• SAX Cosmetics is an Australian family business founded in 1995, and is the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s preferred cosmetic brand. This endorsement recognises that SAX cosmetics provide quality, is well presented and provide excellent value to customers
• Sheer Nude is from the Sheer Lip Colour range, a creamy formula with a sheer tint with Candelilla, Beeswax, Lanolin & Silk Powder
• Soft Rose, Berry Delight & Plum Spice are from the Rich Lip Colour range, a more pigmented velvety finish with Silk Powder, Calendula Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Jojoba Oil, Candelilla Beeswax an Vitamin E.   Both are free from parabens.
• Love the “lock” packaging – one push & the lipstick becomes securely fitted into the case, and another push releases the lipstick ready for use.
• Verdict: At first, I was undecided on the streaky creamy texture.  But hesitation turned into love after priming lips with Blistex Complete Moisture Lip Balm , transforming this lipstick into a beautiful high shine yet creamy finish. If you’re a “classic shade” kind of lady, do check out the 6 shades from each range  & don’t forget to prime lips to get the most out of this lipstick.

Range: Tinted Lipglass
Shade: Plum Fun (MAC Me Over Collection – LE)

• Plum Fun is described as a “neutral plum purple with pearl”, used in MAC Me Over Transformation for Rachel & Ian.
• I admit, plum is a shade I’ve always coveted but never wore it as most plums look aging on me.  But the neutral tones in Plum Fun make it look flattering on my skintone & I love the warmth of it – takes me right back to autumn.
• Verdict: Highly recommend this shade, especially if you are searching for a vibrant yet warm plum that suits most skintones.

• Oh Oh Oh is a limited edition shade from the MAC Me Over Collection, described as a “plum bronze with pearl” with a lustre finish
• Bluebell describes the texture as in between Lustre & Frost, with subtle pigmentation that doesn’t build up in intensity even after applying several layers.
