• A tinted lip balm that’s rich in moisture to instantly hydrate and repair lips with ingredients such as Aloe Barbedensis Leaf Extract, Vitamins A & E.
• Skin-safe formula with no chemical irritants such as fragrance, oil and dyes.
• The high shine glossy finish makes it look like a lipgloss, but the texture is actually very smooth, providing a protective barrier on lips to lock in the moisture.
• Available in 4 shades – Zesty (orange), Delicious (red), Sweetie (pink) and Juicy (citrus).  Zesty gives lips a sheer peachy tint.
• The balm-like texture helps it to moisturise lips for longer.
• SPF 15 – a must have for high shine lip products.
• Verdict: This is a notch (or two) up from Jack Black lip balms in both price and results. It’s much more moisturising, to the point that my lips feel DRENCHED with hydration and completely soothed.  This is going straight into my work makeup bag!

Range: Moisturising Lip Balm SPF 30+

• A lip conditioning balm with SPF 30+ protection to moisturise and protect lips.
• Moisturising & softens lips, with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to condition the skin.
• Claims to be water resistant for up to 4 hours! Not that I can tell.
• No taste at all – versatile for everyone
• Verdict: Two thumbs up for being highly moisturising, high in SPF and less than 5 bucks! Compared to Auscreen Lip Balm SPF 30, this gives less of a glossy sheen.  But the upside is that this is available for individual purchase, whereas Auscreen comes in a mini pack.

Range: Tinted Lip & Cheek Balm SPF30+
Shade: Lip Pink + 1

• Say goodbye to zinc war paint & say hello to this lip & cheek tint that offers SPF30+ protection
• The only active ingredient is Zinc Oxide, a mineral UV filter which provides physical sun protection from UVA and UVB.
• Lip Pink +1 is described as “the perfect pink for every skin tone” which looks more like rhubarb shade to me.
• This chubby stick is about 2.5 cm wide & 6.5 cm tall, like a really short glue stick.
• On Lips: A matte waxy finish that gives lips a subtle rhubarb tint.
• On Cheeks: The waxy texture makes it longer lasting than cream blushes during summer. Easy to apply – 2 swipes on each cheek, blend for 2 seconds & you’re done.  The shade is very similar to Becca Beach Tint in “Watermelon“.
• Verdict: Most SPF lip balms apply too thinly or melt easily due to liquid texture, but this one stays put well.  Although rhubarb doesn’t sound like the world’s most exciting shade, I find it goes really well with bare-faced summer looks & the shade is growing on me.

• Give lips a smooth glossy finish that lasts reasonably well.
• Verdict: Highly recommend this SPF lip balm that’s perfect for everybody in the family.

Range: Crème de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm SPF 10

• A refined shea butter lip balm that soothes, plumps, hydrates and protects lips with SPF 10.
• Delicate rose scent, and is a sister product to Dior’s legendary Crème Abricot, a nail care product dating back to the 1960s in the same classic white packaging
• Texture is a thick waxy butter that’s easy to scoop out (unlike many other hard formulas) and not sticky
• Incredibly nourishing, conceals imperfections and heals chapped lips very quickly
• Contains mineral oil
• Verdict: Although the pot packaging is not for everyone, I highly recommended the formula for its fast healing and nourishing effect.  Since it contains SPF this is my go-to lip balm that I pop on before leaving the house.
